SWISS DELEGATE ABOUT WOMEN
At the Forum of Women Parliamentarians held as part of the 137th IPU Assembly, the EWC journalists interviewed a delegate from Switzerland and found out her view on the status of women in her country.
According to the interviewee, Swiss women have the same rights as men do. They are able to take top positions equally with men. Switzerland even had several women presidents. The only problem the speaker mentioned was gender pay gap. Women still earn less than men for equal amount of work.
The speaker believes that a modern woman should be professional and honest.
